Golf

The Golf Operation at the Plantation at Ponte Vedra offers its members and guests a world-class experience at every turn. The recently renovated championship golf course is the highlight of our exclusive community and one of the finest courses in the country.

Beach House

The Plantation's private Beach House is only a 10-minute bike ride from the front gate.

Enjoy a one acre slice of paradise on Ponte Vedra Beach. Our Beach House includes a full service restaurant and bar, a Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, a playground, Barbeque grills, parking, and views of the Atlantic Ocean. Members enjoy full access to the beach with surf boards and stand up paddle boards available. A favorite past time of Plantation Members is to watch the sunset on a summer evening.

Racquets

Our tennis and pickleball players enjoy playing a friendly, but competitive set or two with their friends.

We have a total of seven Har-Tru tennis courts. With our courts lighted for night play, the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. We also have five new pickleball courts for lessons, clinics, and drop in play.

Players have access to a ball machine to practice their game at no charge. The Racquets Pro Shop offers racket re-stringing and re-gripping. Lessons, either individual or group instruction are available year round and lead by our Elite USPTA Director of Racquets, Shawn Heinchon. Members can also take advantage of clinics which are offered for all level of players.

We have teams at every level competing on the local level. From our covered porch and grandstand-style patio spectators all have front row seats to watch and encourage their friends.

Croquet

In 2021, because of increased popularity of the sport, we added a second court to our Croquet Lawn at the Plantation Commons.  Our facility was highlighted in a Wall Street Journal article in March 2019.

Croquet is a fun sport for all ages. Our members enjoy our many regular weekly and special events which include opportunity for family and youth play as well as adult activities such as wine and wickets. We offer times to learn the game with our croquet coordinator as well as clinics and the visiting professional program throughout the year. You can enjoy a game with your friends, meet new friends, play fun tournaments, or even try more serious play if you desire. We always welcome and support new players.

Dining

A first-class dining experience can be found at the Lake Room, The 19th Hole, or at The Beach House.

The 25,000 square foot clubhouse has become a great gathering place. The facility features the 19th Hole, a casual dining room and patio overlooking the 18th hole. It is fun watching your friends try to master a perfect golf shot to the peninsular 18th green shot and make their final putt. The 19th Hole is also great for spontaneous family dinners on those “too busy to cook” nights.

Fitness

A quick walk or bike ride away to The Plantation House, our Fitness Center has quickly become one of the most popular places in the neighborhood.

A complete workout circuit is offered with both weight resistance and cardiovascular machines keep our members fit and healthy. The Fitness Center is outfitted with Cybex weight equipment, a Precor cardiovascular theater, and a free weight section. The Studio has a calendar providing members with daily exercise classes in a range of disciplines. You may also schedule private sessions. The Fitness Center is open daily from 5:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

Kids

The Perfect Place To Raise A Family

Over 250 school-aged children currently live at The Plantation.  Inside our gates, we're the perfect place to raise a family.  Life for our children is great, riding their bikes around the 650 acres, skateboarding to the basketball court and Plantation Commons and parents never worry. Our children have become outstanding golfers. We have budding tennis players too, who have developed some wicked serves and backhands with topspin.
