Shannon Wheeler most recently served as the Golf Course Superintendent at TPC Sawgrass – Dye’s Valley Course. Before joining TPC Sawgrass – Dye’s Valley Course, he held Superintendent positions at various courses in Florida, including Fernandina Beach Golf Club, Wycliffe Golf and County Club in Wellington, Fountains Country Club in Palm Beach County, The Club at Admirals Cove in Jupiter and St. Andrews Country Club in Palm Beach County.

He is a graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Turfgrass Management. He also is a Class A Member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America and Past President of the Palm Beach Golf Course Superintendents Association.
