Over the past five years, we've seen more families than ever choose The Plantation for a variety of reasons.
The Best Education
St. Johns County Schools are ranked #1 in the state of Florida. Public schools, Ocean Palms Elementary and Landrum Middle School are both situated a mile outside of The Plantation's back entrance gate and Ponte Vedra High School is less than five miles away. In addition, there are a number of acclaimed private schools in the area. Public schools buses pick up and drop off Plantation residents daily in The Plantation.
Safety
Being a gated community with top-notch security, parents can feel at ease knowing their children can enjoy the neighborhood with their friends.
Organized Sports
Our Golf, Tennis and Fitness Directors all provide lessons, events, and clinics specifically geared for kids of all ages. We've had two-year-olds with a tennis racket in hand and also play host to The Ponte Vedra High School Sharks Golf team who has won several state titles. The Plantation Commons offers a new playground and an open field for ball games.
Convenience
Many moms and dads find themselves going the day without leaving The Plantation. Grocery stores and shopping are close. Plus, a commute to Jacksonville is manageable, unlike other large cities.
