Ladies Golf Association
Mission Statement:
The Plantation Ladies Golf Association is a women’s organization of 9 and 18 hole golfers of all playing levels who enjoy playing golf and socializing in an organized, competitive environment.
Our mission is to work with the Plantation’s professional staff to organize tournaments throughout the year. The LGA Board is responsible for establishing the format of play, entry fees, schedule of tournaments and all related activities. The ultimate objective is to provide an atmosphere of camaraderie, fun and relaxation.
PLGA members play every Thursday morning, September through May*. Weekly tournaments are widely varied and may be flighted by like handicap or mixed. The ultimate objective is to play golf in an atmosphere of camaraderie with old friends and new.

Benefits of Membership
Membership in the PLGA provides an opportunity to play organized golf on a regular basis, in a variety of formats and with a variety of people, in a friendly environment. It is an excellent opportunity for new members to meet new friends. The major tournaments throughout the year, including the Member/Member, President’s Cup and Club Championship provide an atmosphere of serious yet congenial competition.
The annual fee to join the PLGA is $65. This includes participation in most tournaments and prizes throughout the year.
* Unofficial play continues throughout the summer, organized by the Pro shop staff, in addition to summer team matches.
